Vibratory Finishers
Back in the early 1970s, Shor introduced the precious metal jewelry industry to vibratory finishers. Since then, they have become quite popular and are now a standard part of the finishing process for most shops. Selecting the right machine for your shop
The first variable to consider is the capacity of the machine. The 1/2 cubic foot machines hold about 125 rings at a time. The 1/4 cubic foot will hold about 250 rings, 1 cubic foot about 500. The 1/2 cubic foot machines are sufficient for most shops. Even larger shops often choose this size machine, purchasing several so that they keep the work in separate batches while finishing them simultaneously.
