Visilap Split Lap
Machines
Split lap machine design hasn't changed much
since Shor introduced the jewelry industry to them about 50 years
ago.
How it works:
Because of the tapered edge and slits that have been cut into
split lap felts,
split lap rubber wheels and
split lap MX wheels, the operator can see through the
wheel to his work piece while lapping or grinding. This allows
for very precise control. Work
produced on split lap machines is very flat, with precise, sharp
edges that are impossible to produce by any other means.

variety of tough applications. Features rugged steel base,
3450 RPM ball bearing ¾ HP motor, on/off switch, 3" dual inlets for
