Shor Lok-Blok Mold Frames

System for making perfect rubber molds without packing

Perfect rubber molds every time with no packing! When Shor introduced the Lok-Blok frames and rubber to the U.S. market in 1984, we were very excited. We thought these frames would quickly replace standard frames. Indeed, every shop that bought the frames has been tickled pink with the results. In fact, they've all been so impressed with the results that they've been keeping this product a secret.

The Shor Lok-Blok has a number of important advantages over standard mold frames. The most advantageous, however, is the ability to make rubber molds with any packing, regardless of the number of fine piercings in the model. This can be a tremendous labor saver.

Additional features include:

• Incredibly easy to use. Because you don't pack the mold, you not only save time but you don't need the skill that is required to pack a conventional mold frame properly.

• Use the same Lok-Blok mold frame for molds of any thickness from ½ inch to 1½ inches.

• No mistakes. The rubber fills in every detail, no matter how fine or intricate.

• Perfect molds every time. No fins, no humps. None of the distortions that can cause problems when injecting the mold wax.

• Uses standard rubber or Castaldo precut or Lok-Blok rubber (Lok-Blok rubber has the locks already cut into it so that there is no need to cut them once the mold is vulcanized.

• Even wobbly, hobbyist type vulcanizers, when used with the Lok-Blok, give perfect results. Can be used to make metal molds
