Simple, inexpensive kits that are also routinely used by professional jewelers to produce excellent results-  Hard, durable gold plating.   Can be used to touch up plating that has worn thin, to change the gold color (for example, 10K and 14K can be plated with 18K gold) or to give your jewelry a 2 tone or multitone look by plating with 1 or more different colors of gold (14K, 18K, 24K, rose gold, etc.).  Though varying in color (14K, 18K, green gold, etc.) all gold solutions contain 24K pure gold. The normal rhodium solution give a brilliant white color, while the black rhodium solutions gives a gun metal blue-black finish.  All rhodium solutions contain small amounts of sulfuric acid (battery acid), so they should not be used where small children are around.
